The Road Less Travelled
Inspired by my love for the vibrant depth of blue mountains in Jamaica, the memories have been re-imagined and brought to life on canvas. Using vibrant acrylic paints and textures, the piece aims to create a sense of vivid sense of depth and atmosphere, as though the viewer is being transported into the heart of the mountains themselves.
The blues of the mountains are intensified and given new life, with shades ranging from deep ultramarine to lime green and lemon yellow. In contrast to the vibrant mountains, the painting features an atmospheric sky that is both haunting and evocative. This painting is a testament to the beauty and power of nature, and a celebration of the incredible variety of colour and texture that can be found within the natural world.
