Sintra Parallels

'Sintra Parallels' was inspired by my trip to Sintra, Portugal, where I visited the breathtaking Pena National Palace perched in the hills. The palace's vibrant colors and the lush, tropical foliage surrounding it immediately reminded me of Jamaica’s landscapes, drawing an unexpected yet beautiful connection between these two distant places.

In this painting, I wanted to capture the joyful colours of the palace and the rich greenery, celebrating the unique charm of Sintra while reflecting the parallels I found with the vibrant spirit of the Caribbean. 'Sinta Parallels' is a tribute to the surprising connections we find in different parts of the world, united by color, nature, and beauty.
